Absolute love, 2019, pint on faux leather, 140 x 100 cm, zine, digital print, binding V1, 34 p., 14 x 21 cm
Absolute Love is an immersive photography project that delves deep into the world of sexuality and fetishism, drawing on the true meaning of 'philia' as a symbol of passionate, unyielding love. Informed by the explorations of Jesse Bering's "Perv: The Sexual Deviant in All of Us", this project sheds new light on the vast and diverse world of fetishes, uncovering personal and intimate stories that will leave you deeply moved. Through a series of evocative images, Absolute Love challenges the dominant narratives around fetishism and invites the viewer to truly engage with the fragility and beauty of this intense form of love. From women adorned in latex to men embracing their inner animalistic tendencies, our work opens up a world of deep sensuality and intricate desire that is often shrouded in misconceptions and shame.
